A note from the Headteacher Tue 18 July

1st July 2017

Dear Parents and Carers,

Thank you for your patience and understanding last week. We faced a challenging time dealing with an emergency fire evacuation, the shut down of our electrical supply and flooding of the school. All of which resulted in the emergency closure of the school on Tuesday afternoon, closure of the school kitchen and cancellation of the optional parents’ meetings. As you can imagine, this was a testing time for everyone involved, however our key priority was the safety of our children and staff, which remained paramount at all times.

On a day by day basis, we faced the possibility of closing the school, so we were unable to plan more than 24 hours in advance. We received the good news late on Friday that we were able to keep the school open until the end of term. However, regrettably due to lack of time, we have been unable to reschedule optional parents’ meetings.

Thank you once again for your continued support for Jubilee. We wish you a wonderful summer break and look forward to seeing you all in September.

Yours sincerely,

Norma Hewins
