Ofsted 2007

Jubilee has maintained its high standards since it was classified as an Outstanding school by Ofsted (see above). That last inspection was in 2007 – Ofsted’s policy is generally not to inspect Outstanding schools unless they have reason to believe that standards have fallen, although its inspectors can call at any time. In the ten years since the inspection, Jubilee has not been troubled by poor results or complaints, which are the two most likely triggers of sudden inspections.

The school’s Year 6 Sats results in 2017 were very good – see our Results page for more information http://www.jubilee.hackney.sch.uk/web/our_results

The School Improvement Partner, who is appointed by the local authority to evaluate the school’s progress, made the following comments in her report in August 2017. She said that “effective performance management, coaching and CPD have continued to improve the quality of teaching”. The results in Year 6 “are significantly above national averages in all subjects in 2017 and reflect the strong provision in place for all pupils”.
