John Wilson, our specialist music teacher, has a jam-packed timetable that sees him teach inspiring and fun music sessions to each class in the school from Reception to Year 6 over the week.

We have weekly singing assembly for each key stage with, and a specialised music session for children with SEN. In addition, all year 3 children learn to play the recorder, we have 2 school choirs, a brass ensemble and instrumental tuition for key stage 2 children in violin, guitar, flute and trumpet. Music is celebrated with a range of concerts and other performances throughout the school year. We love music!

One of the highlights of the year is our Disney musical which is put on by children in year 5. We are proud of our partnership with Eastside Educational Trust running the Disney Musicals in Schools Programme.
